Persian Gastronomic Culture, Let’s Cook Together!

At the kitchen of Howzak House, we try to present the dishes which we mainly cook in the house, and you cannot necessarily find them at the restaurants, where you can mostly find different kind of Kebabs! Actually, Persian Kitchen is very rich in terms of vegetarian dishes, considering the fact that Zoroaster and Zoroastrianism had major efforts encouraging people to consume less meat and more herbs and vegetables.
So let’s dive into varied different delicious dishes we can cook together without using meat! Together we prepare the ingredients in the courtyard, we learn how to properly use the spices you can find the Bazaars of Iran (e.g. Saffron), we learn how to cook rice with Tahdig! we learn what are the secrets laid in the Persian kitchen, which make our food delicious! Moreover, together we prepare some very refreshing drinks, using organic ingredients. And last, but the least, one type of Persian Salad. Our suggested meals for all the seasons:

  1. Kashk-e-Bademjan (eggplant based)
